Accessibility
This site conforms to WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA. That is not a badge we awarded ourselves: every page is tested with axe-core against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 A/AA rule sets, and the build is checked with zero outstanding violations.
Why this matters commercially
Public institutions in Alberta — colleges, health authorities, and their procurement teams — operate under the Accessible Canada Act and provincial accessibility obligations. Software that cannot demonstrate conformance is not a harder sell; it is frequently ineligible. We treat accessibility as a procurement gate, not a nice-to-have, because that is what it is.
Speech-to-text for the assistant's microphone relies on the browser's own recognition engine, which Firefox does not provide. On Firefox the microphone button is hidden and the assistant is text-only — it loses no capability, only the input method. Spoken replies work in every browser.
Automated testing catches a large share of issues but not all of them. If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, email jkambo1986@gmail.com and it will be treated as a bug, not a request.
